Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology (AIT) is a private engineering college located in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1980 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Mutt. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The Institute is Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade and also accredited twice by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

AIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and technology. Admission

Admission to AIT is based on the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). The candidates who have qualified in KCET are eligible to apply for admission to the college. The college also offers admission to the students who have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.
